Your Mom can’t get enough of me w/ Top Brahman, Krushendo, Prismatic, Rage-Bot, Slasha, King Kobra

They don’t call me a momma’s boy for nothing. It’s because I’m back at Your Mom’s House! That’s it. That’s why. For another night of bassy music. This time with Top Brahman, Krushendo, Prismatic, Rage-Bot, Slasha, King Kobra. No other reason people call me a momma’s boy.

Let’s just get to it. I walked into the venue and some dude was playing a dj set. What dude was it? Probably King Kobra considering that’s what his shirt said. What did I think of his music? I thought I was wearing the wrong shirt. I love Halloween. I have a bunch of scary shirts I could have worn.

But I didn’t.

And it wasn’t just King Kobra. The first couple acts all had a horror vibe. In fact, I kept thinking to myself that Your Mom should have decked out her House in Halloween decorations to complete the show. It’s good she didn’t – it would have been weird being in a haunted house with Top Brahman and his charismatic positivity. Or Krushendo’s upbeat beats. Or Prismatic’s funk.

But still, that’s what it felt like. And it was awesome.

The weird thing is, the transition from dark aggression to everything else I said above was flawless. Which, if you’re reading this Prismatic, that funky shit was amazing. That’s what babies are made of. They’re made of funk. Specifically, your brand of funk. If you had a whole set of just that funk I would have needed new pants.

So thank you for not doing that I guess, as I only had one pair.

Your Mom’s House is intimate. It’s small. It’s where I have fond memories of being a college kid. But Krushendo brought the auditorium vibes. It made the venue feel big, like I was at the Fillmore or something. Maybe that’s why that old lady didn’t like him as much as the others. Maybe she finds auditoriums scary and he was just too dang close to that vibe!

I mean, too damn fucking bullshit close. Fuck your social media, I won’t censor myself.

And then a nice cherry on top with the ever charismatic Top Brahman. A happy ending, if you will – he brought it back to the intimate vibe we know and love.

But this show wasn’t all happy endings and serial killers, excuse the redundancy. It was the first time someone offered me a massage. That was weird. It’s also the first time I saw a big boy doing the worm. That was cool. And it was the first time there was a fan man. You sir, who was fanning everyone with your fan, were the MVP of the night.

Anyways, can Top Brahman come vibrate my apartment? Because that’s the real massage I need. Some heavy bass vibrating my body.

Where should this momma’s boy go next? Let me know in the comments!
