What a shitshow. They spend half the movie begging us to believe tarot is actually some real voodoo magic shit, and when they finally manage to convince us it is, they ignore it! After I was like, “fine it’s real, just shut the fuck up and get on with the story,” the characters are like, “lol I’m going to do the exact opposite of what my tarot reading said. I’m such a silly goose.”
And the character design of the monsters is never even seen. The deaths are dumb, the story is stupid, the cool characters have no screentime, and I was thankful every time a main character died because that meant we were one death closer to the end.
