Possessed, Kreator, Testament

How does one accurately describe Klash Of The Titans?

Do they rewrite Bible verses? The Satanic imagery in thrash metal alone is enough to justify it, but combined with the current state of things, maybe it’s appropriate? Maybe instead of Numbers 5:19-22 describing a recipe for abortion, maybe I can rewrite it into a recipe about aborting your fucking self if you miss this show as a thrash metal fan?

It’s nearly Halloween, what about describing it like a Halloween party? Again, the satanic imagery between Possessed, Kreator, and Testament is incredibly immense and the date is nearly October 31st. What a fucking coincidence.

Or maybe as a family reunion? The overall vibe was so friendly and safe that I almost felt compelled to sprint head first into someone during one of the multiple walls of death or punch a motherfucking in the mosh pit that spanned the entire diameter of the Fillmore Auditorium during all three acts.

But, at the end of the day, I think it’s most appropriate

to describe it as a fucking Halloween party! Kreator’s set was fucking amazing and I can only imagine what cool ass characters you’d see bashing into one another if only the tour concluded after Halloween night. Possessed, great, the perfect opener for a night of comfortable violent debauchery. Not too in your face, humble, gracious. This is where the ghouls and goblins prepare for violence.

Kreator, with their massive set and commandment of the audience, takes the party up a notch. Now all the costumed characters are bashing into one another in a controlled manner while demons look on and intensity plays in the speakers.

Testament, keeping the vibe up while bringing a chill Lebowski vibe. If anyone is dressed as The Dude, this is their moment to shine in the mosh pit. If anyone is dressed as Jesus, now is the time to walk on water the crowd. The vibe is right and the time is now!

But unfortunately, Klash Of The Titans ends a few days before Halloween. In fact, you might be reading this after the tour has concluded, and for that, I apologise.

I apologise you couldn’t keep up to date and missed out on the tour. Because while sometimes the introvert in me yearns for the exit, tonight, it didn’t. It wanted to stay. It was like I was surrounded by old friends, like Testament’s lead singer or Kreator’s guitar player or Possessed’s drummer.

Weird names, but appropriate considering their jobs.

Don’t forget I have new merch! Buy now and get it after Halloween! I mean… just buy it and don’t worry about when it’ll arrive.
