Roskilde Festival 2025: FKA Twigs,Anohni and the Johnsons and 25 other acts confirmed

The Roskilde Festival announces another 27 acts for the Line-Up 2025. The latest confirmations include outstanding artists such as British singer and producer FKA Twigs, British-American art pop band Anohni and the Johnsons, rapper Tierra Whack, indie rock legends Bright Eyes and Japanese singer songwriter Fujii Kaze.

For over 50 years, the Danish Roskilde Festival has been more than just a musical event – it is Northern Europe’s largest and most influential non-profit festival that brings together art, activism and music from all over the world.

The British producer, singer and dancer FKA Twigs is one of the headliners of the 27 new Acts that the Danish Festival is taking on its line-up today. With Eusexua, her third studio album, released in January, FKA Twigs consolidated her reputation as one of the most visionary artists of the present. The album was highly praised by the critique, including the “Best New Music” label by Pitchfork and a five-star review in the NME.

Anohni and the Johnsons were also confirmed. Given by the expressive singer and songwriter Anohni Hegarty, the band celebrates great success – which is due not only to her deep emotional appearances, but also to the distinctive voice of Anohni. Through their music they focus on urgent topics such as queer identity, domestic violence, social inequality, war and the climate crisis.

“FKA Twigs and Anohni and the Johnsons both have the extraordinary ability to create groundbreaking music that is appealing to both fans and the broad audience. FKA Twigs is one of the most innovative artists today, and their performance will certainly be captivating. Anohni and the Johnsons deliver intense, unforgettable live experiences and highlight important social topics at the same time – values we share,” says Thomas Sønderby Jepsen, Head of Music at the Roskilde Festival.

Pioneers and exclusive unique performances
The line-up also includes bands such as the American Metalcore pioneers Knocked Loose, the Indie-Folk storyteller Bright Eyes, the Detroit House-Zauberer Omar S, and the always inventive rapper Tierra Whack, who demonstrated her brilliant brilliance in 2023 with her album World Wide Whack. More talents from all over the world are Japanese singer-songwriter Fujii Kaze, the Malian band Al Bilali Soudan, known for their deep ritual Tamasheq music, and the Nigerian Afrobeat singer Oxlade.

Among the 27 Acts announced, there are also two exclusive collaborations developed specifically for the Roskilde Festival 2025. The Norwegian feminist Black-Metal collective Witch Club Satan joins the Danish Doom-Rave band John Cxnnor to perform a trance-inducing performance with ancient witch rituals and Black-Metal-Wut. The Duo Big Fan will also be on the festival for the first time. Big Fan is composed of progressive Danish singer-songwriters Mija Milovic and Barbro and will provide a cross-border post-rock experience that will be staged through an original concert format with a focus on community, collaboration and music.

More than 100 Acts confirmed
With today’s announcement, the festival has announced more than 100 acts for the Line-Up 2025, which will ultimately include around 200 acts as well as a diverse art and activism program.
