RORSCHACH TEST Prepares for a Historic Reunion at Dark Force Fest May 3rd

Industrial metal legends RORSCHACH TEST have announced the postponement of their participation in the upcoming Scars and Stripes Forever Tour due to circumstances beyond their control.  While the band regrets the delay, they are channeling all energy into what promises to be a monumental return: their upcoming performance at Dark Force Fest 2025 in Parsippany, NJ.

This appearance will mark a rare and powerful reunion. Joining frontman James Baker will be Chris Cannella and Jason Kowalski, two longtime collaborators and veterans of the original RORSCHACH TEST touring lineup. The event marks the first time in over 25 years the trio will share a stage.

Adding even more fire to the performance, Luis Kalil of Red Devil Vortex, a world-class guitarist known for his blistering technical ability, will join the lineup. Kalil was brought on following the sudden an unexplained departure of Kolby Peoples. “We needed someone that could play the leads on the record ” says Baker. “That meant finding one of only a handful of players in the world—and Luis is at the very top of that list.”

In a full-circle twist, Cannella gave Kalil his first ESP guitar at age 14. making the event a powerful reunion on many different levels- members of the old guard and members of a new generation they inspired. Jason and I have been playing in bands together since 1991,” adds Cannella.“When he was invited to play on Peace Minus One, he said he wouldn’t do it unless I came with him. He told them I was the only one he trusted to play Jeff Loomis’ parts—which was incredibly flattering. We toured, built lifelong friendships, and now—25 years later—we’re coming full circle. When James reached out about rebuilding Rorschach Test for Dark Force Fest, it felt like the right time to reconnect, heal, and bring that fire back. We haven’t touched the industrial scene since our N17 days, so this is a chance to do it again, maybe even better than before. Skol!”
