No Music For Genocide

You may, or may not (until now), be aware of a movement taking shape – No Music For Genocide. It’s a movement that encourages, and tracks, artists and labels and musicians who remove their music from the Israeli Territory.

As a Jew who’s been to Israel, how awesome! We all know Fuck Your Social Media is left wing as fuck. And removing relaxation from a population that’s removed life from a different population looks as minimal as one can do!

How did this start? Apparently with Daniel Ek, former CEO of Spotify, creating an AI Dystopian Hellscape (my words) Defense Company. Daniel Ek also is on the board of Spotify, so every time you stream, you also get to know you’re airstriking some starving kid somewhere in the world! Great!

Well, some bands, like King Gizzard And The Lizard Wizard, started the trend of pulling their music from the sketcy source that is Spotify. And sometime during that, as other bands followed, a movement was created similar to when artists pulled their music from Russia.
