OUT TODAY: Customer Service – to you, after 2000 years (EP)

From the heart of Halifax, Nova Scotia––a city that feels both like a remote corner of the world and the center of something extraordinary––Customer Service creates music that mirrors its hometown duality. Their unassuming yet unforgettable take on indie-emo blends influences from Modern Baseball to The Promise Ring, catching the attention of new label Royal Mountain Records and Exclaim!, who named Customer Service one of 2024’s best new artists.

Out today, Customer Service’s new EP, to you, after 2000 years, takes just six minutes to unpack heavy-hearted themes of love, loss, and the unwavering friendships that keep us going despite it all. The quartet ––Matt Cheverie (they/them), Owen Harris (he/him), Max Hayden (he/him), and Nick Adams (he/him)—worked with longtime collaborator Owen Williams, and buzzy indie producer Billy Mannino (oso oso, Macseal) to bring these songs to life. The result gives the EP a crispness and punch that perfectly complements its introspective core.
