RAY AND PAUL Announce New EP Fading, Out September 10

Indie Rock Duo, Ray and Paul are thrilled to announce their debut EP Fading to be released on September 10th.

“These 6 songs are a look at the last 5 years of our lives. Love, heartbreak, sadness, doubt, confusion, and pain. They have forced us to grow and have changed the way we look at life and music. We are so happy to be able to share this music with you and can’t wait to show you what’s next.” – Ray and Paul

Fading is the forthcoming 6-song EP that consists of the previously released top track on Spotify “Pelican”, live favorite “Blue”, three new tracks released this year, and the focus track “Fading.” The release will also come out on limited edition vinyl.

Growing up in the SF Bay Area, the brothers formed the band together when they were just 17 and 13 respectively. They were local favorites and the band went on to gain a following via house parties in Isla Vista in Santa Barbara during school. Their signature surf rock / garage rock sound comes together on this EP with the help of Producer Jarvis Taveniere (Mild High Club, Surf Curse, Allah Las) as well as three tracks recorded by John Goodmanson (Weezer, Pavement, Nada Surf, Hockey Dad).

2025 has been an incredible year for the duo, performing at  SXSW 2025, Treefort Festival, a support tour with the Moss, and a support tour with Sun Room. For the rest of the year, they will be doing a headline tour in September in CA followed by a US national tour in October supporting the band DICE from Australia.
