I strolled into Summit only to find that the first band had started before advertised.
Don’t worry though, I didn’t miss much.
After tossing my skateboard into coat check, I slipped in just in time to catch “Letters from the Front” on stage, living their best lives and soaking in the applause. They were the local support and honey, they were good. Grateful for the moment and totally owning it, bless their humble hearts.
Now, about Static Dress. The lead singer? An absolute vision. His makeup was flawless, and the way he commanded the stage… chef’s kiss. Honestly, I’m inspired to add more cropped tops to my wardrobe immediately. He didn’t just perform; he served. They hail from the UK, so If they’re playing again anytime soon, I’ll be front row ready to swoon all over again.
Then came Underoath. It was my first time seeing them live, and let me tell you, they did not disappoint. The classics were perfection and the crowd? Electric.
Except concertgoer Chad with his manicured mustache upset about people moshing close to him. I’ll admit, his sore loser activities begged for a round house – I wanted to capture it SOOOO bad!
The absolute cutest moment of the night? Picture this: the youngest and oldest Underoath fans, living in the moment, were brought on stage for a song to chill on the couch and get the best view.
Speaking of view, have you seen Underoath’s new music video for “Survivor’s Guilt”? Clown makeup, and a naked guy on tile floors, it’s a vibe. Go check it out! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JaSBXZHj5l
Thanks @paaaate for capturing this while I did spooky things. What spooky things? Sign up for the mailing list and I might tell you!
