I’ll admit, I’m not a fan of this music, but I am a fan of accountability and Kid Cudi has dropped M.I.A. from his touring for making offensive, right-wing remarks as being reported by Consequence Of Sound.
Unfortunately, I can’t find any high quality video of the exact Dallas incident that ’caused this firestorm, but I can find a low quality video of part of it.
M.I.A. decided that being racist to introduce her song Illegal was a good idea. A great idea, in fact, as she doubled down when the crowd started booing.
Regardless, it’s good to see artists that still care about the fan experience and reputation and are willing to fire people who bring both those down.
